Objectives: - Ask for and giving information about the geography of one’s home country. - Talk about the picnic in the country - Listen to monologues/ dialogues within 100-120 words for general or detailed information. - Attitude: Study hard, love of their country - Develop speaking and listening skill. Procedures: Teacher’s activities Student’s activities Content 1/Warm up: 5’ -Have ss read the leson. - Ask questions. - Give feedback. 2.Pre-Speaking: 5’ - Ask and answer about home village. - Give an example. - Have ss read the Vocabulary. - Give example. 3While-speaking:10’ - Have Ss practice in pairs. - Go around and help if necessary. - Call some pairs to ask and answer. 4.Post-speaking: 3’ - Have ss talk about their home villages. - Check. 5.Pre-listening:5’ - Ask Ss some questions. - Have ss read the Vocabulary. - Hang the map on the board and guide Ss to listen. - Help Ss remind of the pronunciation and the meanings of some words. - Ask Ss to predict places in the map. 6.While-listening:10’ - Play tape twice. - Have Ss tell the places. - Have listen again to check. 7.Post-listening: 3’ - Have Ss read the places. - Check.
