Ss: Read the lesson and do the exercises in Unit.

1.WARM UP (5MS)
- Presents pictures and tell Ss to match the phrases with the right pictures.
- Explain some words if necessary.

2.PRESENTATION (10MS)
- Introduce the situation: “ Mr Brown is talking to some volunteer conservationists.”

- Play tape twice.
- Have ss read the lesson.
- Correct if necessary.
- Listen to the tape once.
- Guess the meaning and pronounce these words
- Listen.
- Read the passage silently then read loudly.
- Work in pairs to match the names in column A with the tasks in column B. Then Ss write the full sentences.
- Read the full sentences loudly.

Mr Jones, Mrs Smith, Mr Brown and three groups are going to have a clean up campaign. They are going to walk along the shore, check the sand, check among the rocks. Mr Jones is going to collct the bags and take them to the garbage dump, Mrs smith is going to provide a picnic lunch for everyone and Mr Brown is going to give out the bags.
4.HOMEWORK (4MS)
 - Memorize the new words.
 - Write the answers into their exercise notebooks.

A:Because plastic bags are very hard to dissolve, they will cause pollution. And if we use less paper, we can save trees in the forests.

- Write on both sides of the paper, recycle used paper. 
- Save plastic bags, clean and reuse them.
- Don’t throw waste and garbage into streams, lakes and even ocean.
- Discard/ throw garbage in waste bins.
