Knowledge, skill, attitude. - Knowledge: Helps students to revise the structures and grammars + Prepositions + Past progressive + Present simple + To-infinitive + Compound words + Past simple + Indirect questions with If and Whether + Vocabulary + Passive forms. + Question words before to - infinitives Students can revise all the structures they have already learnt. - Skill: Developing writing skill. - Attitude: Study in a serious and strict manner. 2. Quality, ability needs forming and developing for the students. - Ability for shelf – study: Students can do exercise with their teacher and classmates. - Ability for creation: Students finish the lesson. - Ability to join into the groups: Students practice in pairs, in groups. Ex: She has just arrived at the airport. They have begun a new English class recently. Diễn tả một sự việc đã xảy ra trong quá khứ và còn liên quan đến hiện tại Ex: I have learned English since 2000. I have learned English for 3 years. Thì hiện tại hoàn thành dùng với “yet” có nghĩa là “chưa, vẫn chưa”làm việc gì và dùng với “already” có nghĩa là đã làm việc gì rồi. Ex: He has not repaired his car yet? Have you finished your housework yet? I have already finished my homework. * Vị trí của các từ: - Just, already đứng sau từ have/ has. - Yet đứng cuối câu. *Notes: yet dùng trong câu phủ định và nghi vấn. Already dung trong câu xác định. For + khoảng thời gian. Since + mốc thời gian ở quá khứ. II. Past progressive tense: S + was/ were + V-ing S + was/ were + not + V-ing Was/ Were + S + V-ing...? à Yes, S + was/ were. à No, S + was/ were + not. Ex: While I was watching TV, my father was reading a newspaper. Ex: While she was cooking, I was playing game/ She was cooking while I was playing game. III. Passive Voice: S + V + O S + be + Ved/ 3 + By O Ac: Pa: Ex : His father helps him with his homework every night. He is helped with his homework by his father every night. Change these active sentences into passive sentences. 1. She can speak English. 2.Taxis and buses are taking tourists around the city. 3.The interviewer will ask you a lot of questions. 4. Adjective followed by an infinitive: It’s + adjective + to – V - It’s dangerous to swim in that river. - It’s easy to learn English. 2- Adjective followed by a noun clause: Subject + V + adj + (that) + noun clause Ex: They are delighted that you passed your exam. Ex: He was happy that you remembered his birthday. Combine a pair of sentences using adjectives followed by an infinitive or a clause. 1/ I was very happy. I received your letter this morning 2/ The factory is producing more and more pollution. We are afraid. 3/ They burned the plastic waste. It’s not good. 4/ He didn’t pass the driving test. He was very sad. 5/ You have paid attention to recycling. He is delighted 4.
