Knowledge, skill and attitude. - Knowledge: Give information to prepare for festivals - Skills: Developing speaking skills. - Attitude: Study in a serious and strict manner. 2. Quality, ability needs forming and developing for the students. - Ability for shelf – study: Students have to make similar dialogue. - Ability for creation: think some things need in the Tet - Ability to join into the groups: Students practice in pairs. II. Preparation: Teacher: Cassette tape + recorder, color chalks, extra board. Students: Extra-boards, text books, exercise books. III. Teaching activities organization: 1. Class organization: Checking the number of students. 2. Checking up old lesson: 5’ Teacher’s Activities Students’ Activities Content - Have Ss to tell some information the content of three contests in the lesson. - Give feedback and marks - Answer - Take note -Water-fetching: Run to the river bank to take the bottles of water and return to the starting position. -Fire-making: Rub pieces of bamboo together to make fire. -Rice-cooking: Separate the husk and then cook the rice. 3. Purpose: Introduce lesson and explain * Content: Mrs. Quyen and Lan are preparing for Tet. You now work in pairs rearrange. These sentences in the correct order to make a complete dialogue. b. Activity organization form. - Call some pairs to read the dialogue which they have just arranged loudly - Give correct answer c. Result of Ss Practice d. Teacher’s conclusion. Correct Ss’ pronunciation. Activity 3: a. Purpose: Make up your own dialogue. Talk about preparations for another festival. * Content: 1. A village festival 2. A school festival 3. A spring festival 4. A harvest festival 5. A flower festival b. Activity organization form. - Have students work in pairs, make a similar dialogue for one of the following festivals - Call some pairs to state the dialogue in front of the class - Give eliciting answer c. Result of Ss The story has finished d. Teacher’s conclusion. Correct the story. Quality, ability needs forming and developing for the students. - Ability for shelf – study: Students have to complete the sentences. - Ability for creation: Students listen the tape carefully. - Ability to join into the groups: individual. II. Preparation: Teacher: Cassette tape + recorder, color chalks, extra board. Students: Extra-boards, text books, exercise books. III. Teaching activities organization: 1. Class organization: Checking the number of students. 2. Checking up old lesson: 5’ Teacher’s Activities Students’ Activities Content - Call one pair of students to role play about a preparation for a festival - Give feedback and mark - Role play about a preparation for a festival - Take note *The preparation for the festival ( base on the dialogue in the part speak) 3. Purpose: Complete the sentences * Content: We are going to listen to a conversation between Mr. and Mrs. Robinson and Liz about their preparations for Tet. You listen to the tape and complete the sentences. b. Activity organization form. - Play the tape twice times - Have students listen to the tape and complete the sentences. - Call some students to read the complete sentences - Give the correct answers. c. Result of Ss write the answer on the board d. Teacher’s conclusion. Correct Activity 3: a. Purpose: Complete the “Things to do” note of the Robinsons before Tet. * Content: “Things to do” note of the Robinsons before Tet. b. Activity organization form. - Have students listen to the tape again and complete the “Things to do” note of the Robinsons before Tet. - Give correct answers c. Result of Ss The story has finished d. Quality, ability needs forming and developing for the students. - Ability for shelf – study: Students have to read new lesson. - Ability for creation: Students further reading about Christmas. - Ability to join into the groups: pairs and groups work. II. Preparation: Teacher: Cassette tape + recorder, color chalks, extra board. Students: Extra-boards, text books, exercise books. III. Teaching activities organization: 1. Class organization: Checking the number of students. 2. Checking up old lesson: 5’ Teacher’s Activities Students’ Activities Content - Ask Ss some questions - Correct and give marks - Answer - Listen Questions: 1. You read the text and complete the table about the history and organizes of Christmas specials * Content: Complete the table b. Activity organization form. - Have students compare the answers - Call some students to read the answer and write the answers on the board - Give correct answers - Have students work in groups, read the questions in the exercise c.
