1. Simple past tense :Thì quá khứ đơn
a. S + was / were + 
 S + was / were + not +
Was / Were + S + ?
 	=> Yes, S + was/ were ; No, S + wasn’t / weren’t
	Ex: 	 I ( be) was sick yesterday.
 	 I ( not be ) was not sick yesterday.
 	 Were ( be) you sick yesterday ? => Yes, I was/ No, I wasn’t.
b. S + V(2/ed) + 
S + didn’t + V  
Did + S + V .? 
 => Yes, S + did / No , S + didn’t 
 	+ He ( go) went to see a movie last night.
 	+ He ( not go) didn’t go to see a movie last night.
 	+ Did he ( go) go to see a movie yesterday ? => Yes, he did / No, he didn’t.
* Cách dùng : - Diễn tả hành động đã xảy ra và đã chấm dứt trong quá khứ. 
 	 - Dùng để kể lại một câu chuyện.
 * Dấu hiệu nhận biết : yesterday, last , ago ( cách đây), in the past, in 2017 ......
2. too / so; either / neither:
a.Too /so : cũng vậy (dùng trong câu khẳng định )
 Ex : S1: He is a student .
 S2: I am a student, too / So am I
b. Neither/ either : cũng không ( dùng trong câu phủ định)
S + don’t / doesn’t / didn’t, either.
Neither + do / does / did / + S
 Ex: S1: I don’t like carrots.
 S2: I don’t , either / Neither do I.
 S1: She can’t swim
 S2: I can’t , either / Neither can I.
3. Prepositions:
	on, in, at, for, between, from, to, opposite,.
 Ex: The police station is opposite the hospital.
 The bank is between the hotel and the restaurant.

4. Adjective/ adverbs:

 5. Modal verbs:
	Can, must, should, ought to, will + V( nguyên mẫu)
	Ex: I will see you tomorrow.
	 She ought to finish her homework first.
+ can: có thể ( nói đến khả năng ở hiện tại )
+ could: có thể ( nói đến khả năng ở quá khứ )
+ must / have (has) to : phải 
 + should / ought to : nên
+ may: có lẽ , có thể ( dùng ở hiện tại )
+ might: có lẽ , có thể ( dùng ở quá khứ )
Ex : You should finish your homework first .
 We mustn’t go when the lights are red .
